Team Up to Present "Making Music on a Mac"
Santa Monica, CA — On Saturday, July 10, West L.A. Music and Korg USA (the world's leader in keyboard workstations) presented a how-to workshop entitled, Making Music on a Mac to the customers of the Apple Store on the 3rd Street Promenade. Korg USA product specialists, Doug Beck (keyboards) and Rob Math (guitar) astounded Apple Store customers by demonstrating how to use the Korg Triton keyboard and Ampworks guitar processor to record bass, strings, piano, brass and guitar tracks directly to a Mac computer. Customers were inspired by the ease at which a professional sounding recording could be made with the right Korg tools and Apple Mac know-how. An informative exchange of ideas also ensued as several customers asked questions about their own recording aspirations and projects. Attendees entered to win either a Korg Ampworks or an Apple iPod, both of which were given away at the end of the presentation.
