West L.A. Music Donates Autographed Guitar
to Marymount High School

LOS ANGELES, CA — West L.A. Music donated an autographed Fender Stratocaster to Marymount High School. The winning bidder paid $3,500 for the signed piece of music history which was auctioned off at Marymount's annual fundraising event.

The guitar was signed at KZLA's Country Bash, held at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California on October 11, 2003. West L.A. Music's General Manager Rick Waite and President Don Griffin had the guitars signed by country music stars Jo Dee Messina, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Kid Rock, Joe Nichols, Jennifer Hanson, Dierks Bentley, Rick Trevino and Jimmy Wayne, members of Lonestar, Trick Pony and The Derailers and actors John Schneider and Peter Reckell.

Proceeds from Marymount's live auction will be used for educational programs and to improve school facilities.

West L.A. Music supplies equipment for major artists, recording studios, broadcast companies, film and video post production facilities, producers, composers and record companies, as well as schools, religious organizations and government agencies. Numerous guitars autographed by celebrities have been donated by West L.A. Music to local and national charities.
