at KZLA's Country Spring Thing to Tilden's Children
LOS ANGELES, CA — West L.A. Music has donated two autographed Fender guitars to Tilden's Children. Peter Tilden, a popular DJ on Los Angeles radio station KZLA, organized this charity which is affiliated with L.A. Family Housing. L.A. Family Housing is a transitional facility for homeless families whose mission is to provide "a safe, caring, and service-rich environment that helps homeless families and individuals rebuild their lives." Tilden's Children will help homeless and low-income kids prepare for a positive future.
The guitars were signed at KZLA's Country Spring Thing, held at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California on May 22, 2003. West L.A. Music's Drum Manager Glenn Noyes and President Don Griffin had the guitars signed by Kassidy, Kelsi and Kristyn Osborn of SHeDAISY, Chris Thile, Sara Watkins and Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek and guitarists Joe Nichols and Jimmy Wayne.
